Need to set up your APN?

The APN ("Access Point Name") is the profile your phone needs to browse using your data allowance. It usually configures itself when you insert the SIM; if not, follow the steps in this guide.

Usual path: Settings → Mobile networks → Access Point Names (APN) → Add. On some Xiaomi (MIUI) phones you must open the APN and choose "MVNO type: IMSI".

iPhone (iOS)

  1. Open Settings on your iPhone.
  2. Go to General and find "Transfer or Reset iPhone".
  3. Choose Reset → "Reset Network Settings".
  4. Enter your passcode and confirm.
  5. Once finished, the iPhone loads the profile automatically and you're online.

If you bought your phone outside Spain it may not be certified for Spanish networks and the data profile might not work.

What kind of phone do you have?

Roaming: use your plan outside Spain

Roaming is enabled by default on your line. When you arrive, switch your phone off and on: it will automatically connect to the network with the best coverage.

You can use your plan as usual across the European Economic Area: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czechia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, San Marino, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain and Sweden.

Good to know

  • Andorra, Switzerland, the UK and other non-EEA countries are charged separately.
  • A fair-use policy applies: if your roaming usage and presence consistently exceed your usage in Spain, surcharges may apply. We'd always warn you by SMS first and you'd have 2 weeks to correct it.
  • Before a long trip, check your plan's conditions or contact us if you have any questions.

How much data can I use while roaming?

EU regulation sets a roaming data allowance based on the price of your plan. Calls and SMS inside the EEA have no such limit.

PlanData in SpainData in roaming
Promo Ilimitada 8 GB8 GB5 GB
Promo Ilimitada 16 GB16 GB6 GB
Ilimitada 21 GB21 GB7 GB
Familiar 25 GB25 GB8 GB

Ilimitada 153 GB153 GB11 GB
Ilimitada 180 GB180 GB13 GB

If your plan is not listed, the formula is: plan price excl. VAT ÷ 1.10 × 2 = GB available in roaming. Beyond the fair-use policy, extra data is billed at €0.0021/MB (about €2.18 per GB).
